Dr. Bradley Dale Whaley, MD

I saw Dr Whaley in the emergency room. He was professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He took time to make sure I understood the results of my test and condition. He answered my questions and was clear about the follow up care I would need. He has a kind and calming presence and I would definitely recommend him.

The doc is pleasant and personable, but I'm not sure about his medical chops. He lost his way and misidentified an abdominal mass as an enlarged organ, so he ordered an ultrasound of a healthy organ ($$$ cha-ching). Then he put forward a few educated guesses about the problem, but I left the ER still in pain and no wiser than when I arrived. Maybe an accurate diagnosis is beyond his skill, though I hesitate to slam him for one error. But I am surprised that an experienced ER doc would make what seems to be a beginner's mistake.

I have such a long letter I have sent to the hospital. Forgive me for shortining it up, He was so awful that it took three pages to describe his horrible unprofessional behavior. I was diagnosed with pneumomediastinum and was instructed to return the following day at the er for a simple follow up chest X-Ray. Before Bradley D. Whaley even saw me it had been hours. I had to have my boyfriend's mother come in to the room just to get him to come in and even see me. He was rude, told us it was the wrong diagnosis, and refused to give me any answers of what was wrong. I asked specifically for him to give me the chest X-Ray and to help me find out what the sorce of my pain was. I asked for an MRI. He refused both. I had the piece of paper that had my instructions, he said he didn't care. He gave me no answers and left us confused. I spent 8 hours in the ER for him to spend 10 minits with me telling me there was nothing wrong with me and refuse to even remotly try to find out what was wrong.… He is not a nice man and an even worse doctor. I had to push the call button three times to get the IV out of my arm. He was so unhelpful that I got frustrated, went home and saw a real doctor. Now I have someone who cares. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR He will not diagnose you, he will neglect you and make you feel worse than when you went in. Save your self some time and money and go see a doctor that might actually help. Dr Whaley belongs at the DMV where people expect to get ripped off and have horrible service.

I didn't even want to give him one star on anything - but they won't let me submit this unless I do - but he does NOT deserve the star at all. He is cold, uncaring and an awful doctor. I wouldn't take my horse to see this doctor. My daughter was in SO MUCH pain, and he didn't care at all. I asked him to admit her for pain management and he refused. I told him I was going to report him to his superior and he laughed at me and said he didn't care if I did. He was rude, and even yelled at me at one point. He thinks he's God - but he's really the devil incarnate. He was, by far, the worse doctor my daughter ever saw; and she saw MANY doctors in the 5 years she's been so sick. I called his supervisor the next day and the supervisor didn't think this Whaley guy was right in the way he treated us. Do NOT use this doctor.
