Dr. Brady Nolan Benham, MD

While Dr. Benham was doing my pelvic exam he told me I need a hysterectomy, and he would love to do surgery on me. I asked why, his reply was because I am skinny, and not a lot of fat to cut through like most women my age! Thank God my husband was in the room with me. I was mortified!

I was extremely pleased with my visit today for my routine annual exam. I'm new to town so I just picked an OB doc from the list of insurance approved providers. The office staff was very nice and my nurse who took me to my room and went through my chart was very thorough. I waited 10 min in the waiting room and about that long in the exam room as well until Dr. Bedham came in. When he did come into the exam room he was very friendly, put me at ease, really listened to my concerns, and very considerate with things he said. He is comfortable to talk with about important medical advice as well. I think he has a great bedside manner and I would definitely recommend him to others.

I wish I could get the lady's information that wrote her review on Jan. 19th she posted her story about how Dr. Benham didn't take care of you and you worked for this group. I had a full hysterectomy done by him in 2015 and it was awful! I spent four months in and out of the hospital and had to see a specialist to fix the mistakes Dr. Benham made. I lost my job and my whole life was turned upside down. It still a year last is hard for me to do the things I use to be able to do before the hysterectomy. His bedside manners are not the best and if you are even a slight bit overweight he will call you obese in his chart notes. I would not suggest this doctor to anyone after what I have been through. I have friends who are RN's and after them finding out who I had seen they in a round about way told me they could have suggested a much better doctor. Without saying anything to blunt I knew what they were trying to tell me. He is not a good doctor with this type a treatment. Maybe he is… good with delivering babies but not hysterectomy's. So if you're in need of a doctor to do your hysterectomy surgery please do not see him. I would not want to see anyone else go through what I did.

if you're single or not marry please don't go to this doctor he is very judgmental if you do not have a partner. he said i needed a dc done because he thought i had a molar pregnancy i think he just wanted the insurance money, ended up not having a molar pregnancy (thank god) but i don't feel the same after the d&c he always says everything is normal. will not go back to him ever again. since my partner wasn't with me he said the d&c was the best thing because being a single mom is very hard i didn't ask for his opinion on my personal life, first appt he took the time to talk ( i was with my mom) second appt (alone) he rush out because he was behind on his appointments. you will have to wait in the waiting room for more than an hour be prepared, rude front desk people, he rushes out, bad diagnosis, judgmental. not the kind of experienced you want to have during your pregnancy

I worked for this group of Doctors and respect all of them EXCEPT BRADY N. BENHAM. I went in for a hysterectomy and bladder repair. My scheduled Dr. was out of town at the last minute so Brady Benham was supposed to complete my surgery. It was awful!!! To begin with, he had the wrong chart, luckily, the anesthesiologist figured it out. Then, he forgot to sew me up and I ended up hemorrhaging. I woke up being taken by ambulance to IHC on River Road and had an emergency surgery and 3 blood transfusions and was placed in ICU. I had multiple nurses attempt to get this Dr. to come in and check on me BEFORE my hemorrhage due to fever, pain, swelling, dizziness, vomitting and excessive blood loss and he declined. After hours of attempting to convince him he finally came in, checked me, said it was probably just pooled blood, tried to stop the bleeding by "packing" me with gauze but couldn't find actual guaze so he cut strips of guaze-like material and rolled them up then inserted them and… left. Finally, the charge nurse convinced a Dr. who was on call to check me. I passed out before he could and that's when the "On-Call" doctor had me taken back into surgery. Brady Benham came in the next morning said I'd be fine, they were mistaken and he had done an excellent job with the surgery then tried to release me!!! Luckily again, another nurse knew better and insisted I stay, then advised me to get a copy of my hospital record, chart notes, surgery notes and any other records I could in case I needed to file a malpractice suit...What a joke of a Doctor! DO NOT FOR ANY REASON USE THIS "MD"...I know of SEVERAL other women who make the mistake of seeing him and ended up with similar life-threatening experiences...

he is extremly nice and makes me feel so comfy! i wouldnt see another doctor! he has done a D&C and has helped me through my pregnancy! i plan on seeing him through out all my pregnancys!

Best doctor I've seen!
