Dr. Brandi Wright, MD

I really liked Dr. Wright & how personable she was at first, until she showed me an utter lack of care once. When I inquired about an ESA (asked for details & if we could discuss) & she just straight up denied me, without ever taking the time to ask me why I felt the need for an ESA or offering other resources for me instead. She also told me that "a service animal is not just someone's pet who makes them happy or calms them down when they are around. This is what most pets do for people & why they can be such a benefit to one's overall mental health & well being." For one, an ESA is NOT a service animal and has a different definition & 2, no duh pets bring happiness, but not all owners are depressed, anxious, cant get out of bed or eat, etc. Completely appalled by the complete neglect of patient care. When I expressed this, I was ignored. Patients with mental health disorders should not be overlooked. Just because you can't see our illness, doesn't mean it's not there.
