Brandi Yund, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience in a wide range of clinical settings. She provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for adults, using an evidence-based, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care.

Education and Board Certification

Brandi earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Eastern Kentucky University in 2019 and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is ANCC board-certified and holds active APRN licensure in both Ohio and Oregon.

Clinical Experience in Psychiatry and Nursing

Brandi’s background includes inpatient psychiatry, outpatient community mental health, telehealth, correctional mental health, and major academic medical centers. In …addition to psychiatric practice, her nursing career includes experience in critical care, emergency services, transplant, corrections, and medical-surgical nursing. This broad clinical foundation allows her to care for patients with complex medical and psychiatric needs.

Brandi is committed to trauma-informed care, collaborative treatment planning, and shared decision-making. She is especially experienced in supporting diverse and underserved populations, including rural communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and culturally distinct groups such as the Amish community. She works closely with physicians, therapists, and case managers to provide coordinated, whole-person care that prioritizes safety, dignity, and long-term mental wellness. Her telehealth expertise also helps improve access and continuity of care for patients who may face barriers to treatment.
