Dr. Brandie Jean Metz, MD

Dr. Metz is absolutely the most caring doctor I my daughter and I have met. Her staff and herself are courteous, prompt, and they follow up!!

We were recommended from another dermatologist in OC and the 2 doctors spoke about our issue before we even called for an appointment. We got in very quickly and the front office was very courteous to us. Dr. Metz spent the time going over every aspect of our issue and we felt very comfortable with our plan moving forward. We even received a follow up call to find out how things were going. We are very pleased and have already recommended Dr. Metz to our friends.

The first thing you notice when you walk in the office is the child friendly waiting room with a coloring table and Disney channel. As soon as you sign in, you are always greeted by Chris, who sits at the front desk. After a minimum wait time, you are greeted by Candace or Natasha and taken to your room. After the nurses made us feel at home in the room, Dr. Metz introduces herself and makes you feel like you are part of her family. She genuinely cares about each patient and takes as much time as it takes to make sure you are taken care of. My daughter requires a full body skin check each year with measurements of each cafe au lait spot. After many years with an adult dermatologist, Dr. Metz is the first pediatric dermatologist we have seen and the first dermatologist my daughter trusts. Thank you Dr. Metz for being THE BEST!

I have been struggling with a skin infection for years, and after seeing countless dermatologists had almost given up! I took my daughter in to Dr.Metz's office for a skin biopsy and in casual conversation, asked Dr. Metz if she could refer me to an adult dermatologist. She asked for what? When i pulled up my skirt and revealed the hideous, itchy, inflamed, swollen, embarassing part of my body, aka, my leg, she gasped and insisted on treating me! I was stunned!!! I have never met a Dr. with such compassion, kindness, and attentiveness. Her humanity and commitment to the hypocratic oath comes before anything! She asked me about my fears related to strong medication, she was calm, gentle and reassuring. Dr. Metz has a staff that cares as well! Everyone is personable and concerned. Thank you Dr. Metz and staff! i highly recommend Dr, Metz's nurse practitioner too! She helped my son with warmth, empathy and a tremendous amount of patience. Wonderful professionals...can't say enough!

It took a few weeks for an appointment but definitely worth the wait. My wife and I felt comfortable and secure with the Dr. and received an accurate diagnosis. Great office and extremely pleasant staff! A++ in my book!

We were recommended by our pediatrician to see Dr Brandie for our kid's skin condition however, when we called for an appointment the front office lady was rude and inconsiderate. She was least interested in listening to us and after taking all our information told us to either see the nurse practitioner or another doctor. Overall, a very bad experience and hence will go to another dermatologist recommended by CHOC.

We were referred to Dr. Metz after 2.5 years of dealing with my son's ecezema. We endured many sleepless nights, countless medicine that offered limited relief only to have his skin get worse. Frankly, my 6 year old begin to feel that no one could help stop what he named "the itches." But from the first appointment with Dr. Metz and her staff, we saw a light at the end of our tunnel. Not only is his skin clearing up but he is able to concentrate and is sleeping through the night. Thank you Dr. Metz! You are a God send!

Our journey with cystic acne has been a long and difficult one. Dr Metz was able to combat my son's acne with isotronin and rebuild his self esteem with her warmth and kindness. Her efforts never cease. Her new office and staff are wonderful, making you feel very welcome. We have always been seen quickly and able to set our appointments timely. Most importantly my son feels that there is now hope and someone to give that to him.

Dr. Metz is fantastic! I was sent to her office by our pediatrician for a hemangioma on my LO. She was friendly, professional, and so great with my 3 month old. The staff was also very courteous and respectful. I strongly recommend her!!
