Dr. Brandon P Brewer

Horrible. Had concerns because he had another bad review. I talked to the office manager about this and she said if I was unhappy she would pair me with someone else, I am awaiting a call from her still... I have diagnosises of major depressive disorder, ADHD, and anxiety. I am on the same high dosages of meds for 15 years and I provided 200 pages of records proving this from other psychiatrists, as well as, DNA testing from 2016. I have developed tolerances to these same meds and same dosages, that worked so well for me for over 15 years. Dr. Brewer was too lazy to go over my records, so he cancelled my appoint 45 minutes before and had the gall to put that I had requested the cancellation!! I talked to the office and they rescheduled my appointment for same time and same day. He started out saying he didn't have my records. The office called a week BEFORE confirming that they did have my records and was scanning them in as we were speaking. Dr Brewer stated my depression was… situational and proceeded to prescribe a tricyclic antidepressants to cause M O RE sleep or another anti psychotic after I had told him that Abilify, Vraylar and Rexaulti did not work for me at all, as I have tried them all!!! He ignores your words. I told him I was already in bed all the time! I am a single older woman who desperately, desperately, needed mental medical attention, as my primary care doc is unhappily writing for my scripts currently. I have exhausted all resources in my area, as most are nurse practitioners and relatively new. Most all psychiatrists in my area are managing these nurse practitioners and not seeing patients themselves or are only seeing patients in Addiction Therapy. When I can not find a psychiatrist that is competent to take over my medications and will listen to me and review my records, I will be a walking mess; high dosages of medications who was forced to quit them all cold turkey when I had no mental health provider and spiralling into seizures and possibly suicide, all because this doctor was too lazy and unqualified to make a correct diagnosis. To top this Dr. Brewer went to the managing psychiatrist of the clinic and told his made-up lame side of MY story so this managing psychiatrist won't see me, either. I suppose the whole firm is lazy and looking to profit from easy-peasy diagnosises for people who only need one or no medication. There was one office girl who listened to me, as I have no social or family support. She was out of her job description, but she was an incredibly nice and understanding person. Except for her, and she has nothing to do with psychiatry diagnosises or med treatments, I would avoid this establishment at all costs!! Doesn't care at all about patient's medical conditions or about you as a person. Dr Brewer recklessly diagnosises anything because they have not listened or is unqualified. What's even worse is the managing/founder psychiatrist of this establishment ONLY listens to his fellow psychiatrists without any reservation that Dr. Brewer might be wrong with misdiagnoses. RUN away from Dr. Brewer! and this establishment!!!

He is still a resident and was on a neurology rotation. He gave me a psychiatric diagnosis following a concussion when I was having seizure-like spells. He didn't believe me and was too quick to judge me. I received a correct diagnosis recently from a different neurologist, but this man made no effort. Do NOT see him for anything unless it's genuinely related psychiatrically--and even then, proceed with caution. Awful bedside manner, judges people, doesn't listen, assumes too much.
