Dr. Brandon James Chandos, MD

I had a large right brain stroke. After seeing 4 different neurologists for the complications that developed and having no success with any of the previous doctors, Dr Chandos was the first DR to treat me AS A HUMAN BEING AND THAT MY life MATTERED. He is attentive to my needs and wiling to LISTEN". I know have some quality of life all thanks to this doctor.

My daughter had an appointment to see Dr Chandos for at least 2 months. She has seizures and we needed that appointment. Unfortunately, they cancelled her appointment 2 weeks before her appointment. When I called to reschedule her the receptionist said they didn’t have any appointment available in the near future. What is someone to do when they are having problems and they cancel you. They should fit you in somewhere. But the people who have appointments weeks and months after the one we had will now be seen before my daughter. That’s just plain wrong.

Too quick to push a brand name "miracle" drug, which did not help me.

Doctor was great. The front office staff needs to have more patience with patients who have mental conditions. I witnessed two patients being treated abruptly and without concern. You could see it took everything for those patients to make it to the appointment and they were disoriented and confused. One talked with me in the waiting area. The other one was late to her appointment and forced to reschedule and she clearly needed to be seen. I understand there are office policies but I think she could've been treated more fairly and with compassion. She was by herself and seemed out of sorts. The two front office staff were not overly busy.

Dr. Chandos takes the time to listen and this is invaluable. He listened to my unique situation and details and came up with a plan that I was comfortable with. I appreciated his knowledge and honesty. He answered my many questions, as well as returned various phone calls.

I have been to several doctors for my seizures and no one listened to what I had to say about how I felt when I had them or what the medicine made me feel like. They would instead give me meds and send me off. Dr. Chandos did listen and worked with me to get the right medicine and control them. He is caring and understands that the person going through the pain knows more about it than anyone. He takes time to answer your questions and concerns and gives you down to earth answers that we as patients can understand.
