Dr. Brandon Paul Combs, MD

I have been seeing Dr Brandon Combs since moving to Denver from Maryland 4 years ago. I am 65 and see Dr Combs as my primary physician. Quite frankly I am writing this review because my experience has been opposite the lees than 5 ratings I have read here. He has always spent as much time as I needed and referred me to others as necessary. If I present a problem outside his expertise he is quick to look it up on the computer or call upon others. He follows the UCHealth guidelines on the frequency and necessity on diagnostic testing resulting in less testing then when I was given in Maryland. He cares my well being.

My title says it all. Dr Combs solved two chronic problems that I had had for years that prior doctors couldn’t solve and were only medicating. Problems solved and off the meds. He always listens to me and has the time for my problems. He Is young enough to know all the latest options and old enough to have the experience you want. Over the years I have had quite a few doctors and he is the best by far. A caring competent doctor.

Unlike the reviewer below (who, in my opinion seems to be one referral too late for a full psych review) I think Dr. Combs is an absolutely OUTSTANDING physician. If he comes off as knowing he's right, chances are he IS! I was seen by numerous specialists at Kaiser who could not diagnose my condition. After only a few visits with Dr. Combs, HE FINALLY got it right. Another great thing about Dr. Combs is that he's not a pushover. I've had docs in the past that will give you just about whatever you want to get you off their back. If you recommend something, and Dr. Combs does not think you need it, then trust me, ya don't need it. I work in the medical field, and have experience around physicians all day long. I recommend Dr. Combs to ALL my friends, family, and colleagues who are looking for a PCP (and, if you're looking for one, and he's accepting new patients, look no further). However, if you're like the guy below, and think just because you barely got a C in introductory biology… at Red Rocks Community College and apparently found your diagnosis by scouring Web MD, make sure you're not suffering from Munchausen Syndrome before scheduling an appointment. Dr. Combs is TOP NOTCH. End of story. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a respectable, intelligent, caring, and empathetic physician.

He is convinced he is right and has no respect for the opinions and practices of his colleagues, nor for the well-being of their patients. He was born to rule over everybody else else and to cause suffering.
