A Pacific Northwest native and a dedicated family man with nearly 30 years of medical experience, he began his career as a paramedic firefighter before transitioning to holistic medicine and chiropractic care. He made this life-changing decision after a climbing accident in Bend, Oregon, which resulted in multiple compression fractures. This incident provided him with a new perspective on patient care.In 2011, Dr. Couchman became the first chiropractor to initiate coordinated care for CrossFit athletes at the World Games of CrossFit in Carson, California.
