Dr. Brandon Mondesir

Brandon Mondesir, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2008, graduating with Honors in Low Vision and Professional Distinction. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario. Following his optometric education, Dr. Mondesir completed a residency in primary eye care with an emphasis on ocular disease at the Hudson Valley VA Hospital in Montrose, NY. Dr. Mondesir is a residency-trained Optometric Physician providing comprehensive primary eye care for all ages. His specialties include pediatric vision, specialty contact lenses, Corneal Refractive Therapy, and the management of vision conditions using both traditional and state-of-the-art techniques. An active member of the Central Florida Society of Optometric Physicians, the Florida Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association, Dr. Mondesir stays committed to offering the latest advancements in eye care in a professional and …ethical manner. Originally from Canada, Dr. Mondesir has called Central Florida home since 2012. In 2020, he founded Modern Eyes at Alafaya, where he is dedicated to providing personalized and professional eye care tailored to each patient's needs. In his free time, Dr. Mondesir enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons. He's also a passionate sports fan, supporting the UCF Knights, Orlando Magic, and Pittsburgh Steelers.
