Summary
Prior to becoming the medical director of thoracic surgery for Salem Health, Dr. Brandon Tieu (he/him) was an associate professor of cardiothoracic surgery OHSU. His work covers a broad range of general thoracic surgery with a primary interest in thoracic oncology and the management of lung cancer, including all forms of pulmonary resections. Additionally, his practice includes the management of mediastinal masses, chest wall tumors, pleural disease (including mesothelioma) and pulmonary metastases. He has a keen interest in minimally invasive surgery, including both video and robotic-assisted thoracoscopic surgery. When he's not working or studying, he enjoys tennis, traveling and spending time with his family.
