Dr. Brandt Ryan Gibson, MD

Stay away. He operated on my ankle and nicked a major nerve. I now have no feeling in my foot! There should be a rating for negative stars. Gibson should be spelt Quack!

I’d like to add my voice to all of the other 1 star, stay away comments. My husband also had the worst of the worst experience with Gibson (I hesitate to call him Dr. because of our experience). He did a surgery on my husband’s foot that he was absolutely unqualified to do. My husband almost lost his foot! We had to go to Dr. Faux to have a major redo in trying to fix all of the damage. My husband’s foot is now fused. He will have issues the rest of his life due to Gibson. Gibson should NOT be doing surgery on people’s feet, ankles or anything else. My biggest regret is that we never sued him—we don’t think that way, but he should be stopped! We know of several others he has damaged as well. Somehow the word needs to get out that he is harming others! Our biggest lesson learned: if you ever have surgery GO TO AN ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON, NOT A PODIATRIST and especially NOT GIBSON!

I now know of four people personally whose botched treatments and surgeries trace back to Dr. Gibson. Two of them were at risk of having their foot amputated after his faulty surgeries. I am honestly worried about people still going to him. I would definitely like to see some accountability. One mistake happens--that's just life--but four mistakes among my friends and family (from a total of maybe the five I know who have had visited a podiatrist) that all trace back to Dr. Gibson implies something deeper going on here.

Dr. Gibons surgically treated Plantar Fasciitis in both my feet. My feet are now pain free.

If i could give less than 1 star i would. Dr Gibson did a surgery on my foot that he had no right to do. He caused more damage than good. I had to have another surgery from an orthopedic surgeon to fix the damage he caused. The really bad thing is that he caused so much damage in my subtalar joint that i had to have it fused. It has changed my life forever. I'm in pain everyday. Stay away. He is a liar and a quack!!
