Dr. Branimir Catipovic, MD

Doctor Catapovic is a fabulous doctor. He listens to all my concerns about the 97 year old man I care for. He’s attentive, never dismissive and seems to truly care!

I took the 97 year old man I care for to see Dr. Catapovic today and he was he was thoughtful and thorough. He addressed all my concerns and answered all my question s. He remembered concerns I had last year as well. I’m impressed with his enthusiasm each visit, and his professional appearance. He’s a great doctor !!!

I had a recent appointment with Dr. Catipovic at the Portland VA clinic, and I was truly impressed with the level of care I received. He was sincere, kind, and took well beyond the scheduled time to really listen to my concerns, especially regarding recent health scares and their overall impact on my well-being. He wasn’t quick to push medications and seemed genuinely invested in helping me. While not overly chatty, he was extremely thorough. I left feeling heard, supported, and cared for.

Dr. C. was awesome! He’s attentive, efficient and gets stuff done! He asks questions and really listens to your answers. I’d highly recommend Dr. Catapovic.

I saw him at the Portland VA clinic and was appalled by his unprofessional attitude. Didn’t even look at me as I walked in and sat down and in an annoyed tone asked “what’s wrong?” I had a list of items I was procrastinating on getting seen for and with each item I started to address, he would seem to be annoyed like I was a burden to his day. One of those issues was the rapid weight gain and extreme fatigue I’ve had. His immediate response, in an annoyed tone, was “we don’t provide weight loss medication” (the site won’t let me say the name of it), which was the last thing I was there for. This type of attitude continued the whole appointment and at a certain point I no longer felt comfortable expressing my concerns to him and ended the appointment. I have put in a provider change request and refuse to see him again. HIGHLY recommend to stay away from him and for the VA to get rid of him.

This guy is a complete azz. His way or no way like stated earluer.

I went to see him at the va clinic for a follow up for pneumonia. I also had severe pain in my abdomen and told about that. He listened to my lungs and ignored my pain. He then told me he wanted to cut off my supply of oxycodone. He is more worried about the pain killers than fixing the pain.

I liked the guy right off, gave me the benefit to make some treatment choices and was very respectful, thorough regarding my health choices regarding Statins although he didn't agree. First time seeing him at this location due to recent transfer of our old Dr. so time will tell if he fits in with our part of the State. I spoke to most of the staff and they all like him.

I don't trust this guy at all. It is either his way or no way. The VA really dropped the ball hiring this clown.
