Dr. Branko Bojovic, MD

We were referred to Dr. Bojovic by my husband's pediatric surgeon when he needed a revision of the internal hardware of his reconstructed ear. Dr. Bojovic was so kind and patient and explained things thoroughly. His work was wonderful and we can't even tell externally that there was work done! Dr. B even reached out to my husband's old surgeon to get a better understanding of the work that was done 20 years ago to make sure surgery went smoothly. We feel very lucky to have him as a surgeon!

Dr. Bojovic is one of the most remarkable men I've ever met in my 68 years. I was fortunate to have been referred to him by oral surgeons in Maine to assess the possibility of repairing my palette, which had a large hole after an accident that required that I wear a device to cover it. Without the device I was not able to eat, drink, or talk. The device helped -- in fact kept me alive -- but I still had a lot of difficulty with all of those functions and felt a constant fear of losing or breaking it. Over a two year period, Dr. Bojovic patiently and compassionately guided me through the process of preparing for a series of very delicate surgeries. It involved taking a graft from my leg, with a vein, and transplanting it to the palette in one 8 hour surgery, and then covering that with a flap in another surgery. He is clearly a world-class surgeon, but also a remarkably kind man. My wife and sister, who often accompanied me to appointments, love him, and my entire family is grateful… for his competence and caring. If any surgeon could be excused for being arrogant, it would be him, but he is instead one of the most humble people I've ever met. I could go on, but suffice it to say, I was blessed to have met him and because of him I can drink, eat and talk.

Dr. Bojovic performed an extremely difficult surgery on my husband to repair a life-altering injury to his palate. To say this doctor is a skilled surgeon is like saying Aretha Franklin is a skilled singer. We are talking craft, instinct, and artistry. The difficulty and delicacy of this procedure, which involved grafting part of a thigh muscle to the palate, cannot be overstated. This good man found his calling and thank God he did.
