He doesn't even deserve one star. He should have been a lawyer because he is devoid of empathy! He looks down on his patients and has no respect for others time or money. He also doesn't listen when you tell him something because he thinks he knows everything and he doesn't! I have to wait over an hour most times for him to come into the room where he makes me feel like I am nothing but a teaching instrument for the many many interns that he drags into the room at every single visit! He is only at this location once a week so you have to accommodate him! He also schedules way too many people at the same time..hence the long wait! He takes full advantage of the power he has to write prescriptions! I know at least 5 other people that are on the very same medication and they are appalled when I tell them about how he treated me! I am in need of a new doctor desperately but no one in this area is taking new patients! I have been with him for a few years now and he still made me come in 2-… 3 times a month when the requirement is only once a month. The people at my pharmacy have asked me why he only gives me partial prescriptions all month long, every single month? They've said, "doesn't he know how much it costs not to mention the inconvenience"? It is embarrassing to have to say that your doctor doesn't care!! Even with insurance..all of this is absolutely unnecessary! He has put me deep in debt and has actually added a huge amount of stress to my life! He cannot relate to anyone who hasn't led the sheltered life that he clearly has! This is a man who is in the medical field where they are supposed to "care" and "heal" people?? Not him! To top it off..he could not care less if you run out of your medication! This man told me to my face to please call if I was out or running out of medicine...I do exactly that and he tells me NO not until I come in and of course it has to be at his convenience!! Now this is a medication that has serious withdrawal symptoms!! What kind of person does that? What kind of doctor does that? Not a good one!!! I could go on but just writing this is stressful and he doesn't deserve any more of my time!! In the end..I have truly come to believe that this man is definitely in the wrong field!

Prescriptions are often written wrong, and drug store always claims he doesn't call back, and I try to call his office all day with no luck. I believe the calls are forwarded to a calling center in California. I often have to go without the medications I am suppose to be on, and he couldn't care less and seems to be bothered that I am trying to get the prescriptions errors correct.

The only reason I could see giving Dr Matich one star is because he is one of a kind! I can honestly say that I am lucky to be alive thanks to Dr Matich's expertise, thoroughness, and care. He is a combination of professional and caring, just as one would hope a doctor would be. He is also very down to earth and easy to talk to. I've never felt judged by him, and am thankful to be in his care.

Dr. Wouldn't sign form for my medication to be sent for FREE from Pfizer, even though he was sending my prescription to Pfizer several months. Once annually a form needed to be signed by Dr. This cost me $407.00 for 1 month from pharmacy. Dr. Knew I was a disabled widow.
