Dr. Brenda Judith Alcover Ballard, MD

I find Dr. Alcover to be a caring doctor!!!! I’m grateful to have as my doctor!!!

I thought this provider was very impersonal and the nurse that came into the room with her instructed me to not bother the Dr. if I had questions to call her instead....very unprofessional as it indicated to me that the Dr. who was standing there when the nurse said this thought it was okay for her nurse to tell a patient to only communicate through them and to not try to contact the Dr. with any concerns or questions. I might add that the Dr. only spent 5 minutes at most with me and said very little. I spent more time waiting for her and the side kick nurse than she spent with me.

Dr. Alcover is a caring physician who believes in honest and open communication. She will tell you the way it is and expects you as a patient to be responsible for your care. She has always been available to me and takes the time I need to answer my questions. I know she cares about me as a patient.
