Dr. Brenda Jeanne Dierschke, MD

I seen this doctor over a decade ago and I remember her for one reason and one reason only and that’s being the worst doctor I’ve ever had both from a competency and moral standpoint. She’s heartless, wastes your time and represents exactly why people born with complex neurological issues such as myself give up on medical care. I hope she’s retired at this point and can no longer cause this sort of harm to patients.

My 88 year old friend has been in pain for 2 1/2 months after a fall. Dr. Dierschke sought her input as well as mine into her situation. She examined past history and proceeded with a comprehensive exam regarding her pain. After having had X-rays and ultrasounds ordered by other Drs., Dr. Dierschke observed something in my friend’s gait. She used a model and colored chart to explain the problem to my friend. After outlining several steps that could be taken, she ordered an MRI. We are realistic enough to know that some pain never goes away, but we do know that she will guide us to options that will help one live with it.

Do not waste your time and especially your money. I was seen by the doctor once on the initial visit. Felt rushed and I was a bother. She doesn't look you in the eye to talk to you, and I just felt like a number. Sent me on my way with prescriptions that I had bad side effects from. Each time I called the office to explain what was going on was a several days wait for a nurse to return the call, IF they returned my call. She would order useless medications that did not help. Last medication was for an expensive patch which needed prior authorization from her, which she still hasn't responded to. My last phone call to her nurse I was actually hung up on in the middle of my sentence. After 2000 dollars in appointments, gas and worthless medications she has not helped me one bit. Please find somewhere else!

Waited over an hour for her to show up. Watch her read my chart/history for almost the entire appointment. Had no plan for treatment. Set up appointments with four of her colleagues - not a single follow up after any appointment. Total waste of time. Very insulting and disappointing - trust these "professionals" with personal information and medical history only to find that the Neuro Team is completely unprofessional. Don't waste your time or money.

Her nurse was great and the other staff were good. Dr.Dierschke seemed irritated and rushed. I had never met her before and I hope I never have to go back to her again. She is dealing all day with people who are in pain but seemed to have no empathy for pain. She seemed overall disinterested in me as a person and a patient.

Dr Dierschke's answer for everything is "come back in 4-6 weeks". She will bounce you around from one "specialist" to another. Her primary goal is to keep you coming back. It was my primary doctor that eventually diagnosed the problem.

I would not recommend this physician OR overall clinic. BEWARE. They get you in the door, you wait forever, then you end up seeing a "team" of professionals. Once your initial visit with the doctor is over, you'll never see or hear from him/her again. It will be all nurses after that. Medicated patches were prescriped at a horrific expense which did not work one bit. This dr. then sends you to different doctor(s); all a waiting game with no action. Again, BEWARE. Gone are the days you can see one physician and get results. What has become of our medical profession is pathetic. I've about had it. Mis-diagnosis's and you wait & wait for call-backs. It's all about money, in my opinion. Monitor your own health, & don't be so anxious to let them order everything possible to be done!
