Dr. Brenda Kay Stenftenagel
Dr. Brenda is an orthodontist, which is a dental specialist that has not only completed four years of college and four years of dental school, but has also completed and additional two years residency program accredited by the ADA (American Dental Association) in orthodontics. After receiving the additional years of training and education, an orthodontist has learned the skills that are required to treat the misalignment of teeth and dentofacial orthopedics necessary with braces and various appliances.
Dr. Brenda graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and completed her Orthodontic Postgraduate Residency at Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis.
Dr. Brenda was born in Jasper and moved to northwest Indiana in 1991, following her college graduation. Dr. Brenda was an associate of a large orthodontic group for three years prior to …opening her own practice, Braces for All Ages, in 1994.
Dr. Brenda has a wonderful husband, Dave, and two beautiful daughters: Isabella and Alana. When not playing with her children, she enjoys being outside working in her flower garden, boating on the lake and going shopping.
Dr. Brenda is very ambitious and looks forward to her patients having a personalized experience and hopes not only to give them a beautiful smile, but also make an everlasting impression on their life!
