Dr. Brendan Michael Prendergast, MD

Dr. Prendergast treated me for non-small cell lung cancer. He is an exceptional doctor and thanks to him I am in complete remission. I would highly recommend him to anyone that has received a cancer diagnosis. He was empathetic, listened, and fully explained my treatment plan and why he was recommending what he did. He also gave me options and set up a second opinion appointment in Tampa for surgical options. I ended up no being a candidate for surgery and subsequently received 33 radiation treatments along with chemo. I followed his instructions, and 8 months later, I am in remission. He is truly a great and knowledgeable doctor. Highly recommended.

My fiance was in the hospital for SVCS caused by a bulky mediastinal lymph node that also compromised his trachea. His condition was emergent. Dr Prendergast assembled his radiation team to come in over the Thanksgiving holiday to give my fiance radiation to halt the growth of his mass. If he hadn't done so in such a timely manner, I am 95% sure Bry would have died. He and his team really care, and he is very informed with a good bedside manner but honest.
