Dr. Brendon Mccollom, DO

My wife and I can confidently say this is the best doctor in the state. From the first visit, 15 years ago , my wife had a chronic pain for a long period of time , with his professionalism, expertise, and compassion pinpoint the source of the disease, it was like a miracle. Best doctor in the state. Honest, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. My family and I are so grateful to be under his care.

I’ve made 5 total appointments with him... At his office. During HIS business hours. Was told every time he had to cancel, and was even told he went out to lunch. Worst professionalism in a doctor's office I’ve ever seen.

My mother saw this doctor when he was at previous clinic. He told her he wasn't going to prescribe her water pills so she can lose weight. She advised him she has been on water pills for years because she has problems with congestive heart failure and they help her reduce the water overload. He told her that is not true. She asked him if he has problems with overweight people. He said this visit is over and made he leave. He made my poor elderly mom cry. He then sent her a letter saying she was no longer his patient and she will be unable to see any doctor at this office. He is no longer at that office and I think I know why. I saw him one time when I had a knee injury because my doctor had no openings. He said I'll give you medication that I prescribe my athlete patients. He prescribed an anti-inflammatory that has a history of stroke and heart problems for those with personal and family history of heart problems. He didn't review my file. Everyone in my family have heart… problems. I wrong him a letter and copied my doctor that what he did was dangerous, so he is fired.

I have no idea what everyone is complaining about. I have met with Dr. McCollom several time and at no point ever felt like he didn’t care about what was going on with me. I have been struggling with severe fatigue for some time and he has been the only doctor I have seen that has actually done testing to find out why. I believe people give bad reviews because they don’t like what they are told even if it’s truth. Take what is said on a public forum with a grain of salt!

He spent a lot of time with me and my husband. Very compassionate and caring doctor and staff.

My family has been seeing Dr. McCollom for about three years. For three years my husband and I's conditions have remained constant, and we seem to get no where after seeing Dr. McCollom. Both of us have very treatable conditions. Only recently have I found relief after leaving the care of Dr. McCollom. My husband is in the process of finding new care. I am thankful that our 14 yo daughter recently was in need of a doctor, because of Dr. McCollom's inappropriateness in her appointment, I realized that we desperately needed a new doctor. Dr. McCollom is arrogant, and has little respect for his patients. Frankly I feel as though he hopes you do not get better. That is how he makes his money, and that is what it is about for this guy. I pray that others will see through him, before their lives are in his hands. I wish I had found this site earlier, his negative reviews couldn't be more accurate, I believe the positive ones have just not experienced the real Dr. McCollom yet.

Very understanding, compassionate and professional. I have recommended him to several friends and family members.

I wish I could give him no stars, but that is not an option.
