This Doctor does Shoddy work! He did Gastric Bypass on my Best Friend and she went into a Coma. She spent MONTHS in the Hospital and MANY months rehabilitating!!! Bypass THIS Dr. Frankenstein!!!! If I could give NO Stars I would!!

This doctor did bypass surgery on my mom for weight loss, she lost weight alright over 150 pounds down to 93 pounds because his botched surgery made her opening so small she literally starved for a year. When she ended up in the hospital finally bleeding internally on Easter his solution was to keep giving her blood till Monday when he would come in and scope her. Mind you there was a doctor on hand ready to do it but he didn't want him to go in and see the bad job he did. When the administration was threatened with a lawsuit he came in and ran the scope rather then another doctor. Why if he had nothing to hide.

Dr. Bruderer made me live again! He operated on me 3 times in a year and a half. Gastric, gallbladder and tummy tuck. Amazing team!

Dr. Bruderer may be a good physician for gastric bypass patients, but I would not recommend him for lapband patients. He obviously does not care for the lapband procedure, and makes this fact well known. I feel that every time I have an appointment with him my decision to have the lapband surgery is put down or questioned. If I run into any problems, he seems to have an "I told you so" attitude. Even though I have had stellar weight loss following my lapband surgery, it is continually pointed out that lapband patients generally don't lose much weight and that gastric bypass produces much better results. It is very frustrating to have a physician that does not seem to support my decision at all.

He's by far one of the BEST doc's I've ever had and Lord knows that I've had alot of doc's.
