Dr. Brent William Burkey, MD

Brent William Burkey, MD, is Assistant Clinical Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. He is a faculty member at Fairview Hospital, Internal Medicine Residency Program in Cleveland Ohio. In addition, Dr. Burkey is a member of the Associate Staff at Cleveland Clinic's Westlake Internal Medicine group. He is board-certified in internal medicine. Dr. Burkey received his medical degree from MCP Hahnemann University School of Medicine in 2001. He completed his graduate work at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Dr. Burkey's graduate concentration included the study of tropical medicine and the clinical features, diagnosis and treatment of disease in the tropics. His specialty interests include the clinical management of adult patients, with a subspecialty focus on international health. He has been a faculty member at Fairview Hospital for the Internal Medicine Residency program and a Longitudinal Clinic Preceptor at Cleveland Clinic
