Dr. Brent Thomas Burton, MD

This guy is a scam. He may have a medical degree that is about 40 years old, but his expertise and knowledge is also about 40 years behind. He gets paid to deny claims. Workers comp would rather pay him $500+ a visit to deny a claim, versus paying the $300 in medical costs for a patients injuries. I give this place two stars, only because the gals in the front warned me in advanced to have a witness for my examination. Even their own staff knows Integrity Medical are scammers.

Complete fraud. Hired by an insurance company to write fraudulent chart reviews in order to deny benefits to patients who are legitimately sick and need help. I was diagnosed with a condition by 8 independent physicians (MDs). Dr. Burton wrote that I am malingering my symptoms. He is a total fraud, he never examined me or talked to me in person.

Multiple reports were sent to multiple states without ever talking to or examining patients. In these record reviews Dr. Burton claimed patients were experiencing psychogenic issues when all patients had blood work and brain scans showing damage. Dr. Burton will be brought up on charges at a later date for additional false claims. A Absolute despicable human being.

Outdated research and a plagiarist. Refused to hear actual experts in areas he was unfamiliar with. What a poor excuse for a doctor and a human. Run, RUN away from this quack.

His information on lead exposure and toxicity is dated. He states that naturopathic doctors aren't real doctors, and the labs they send your provoked 24 hour urine collections to for analysis, always come back high in lead and recommending chelation. This is untrue. He also states that most lead toxicity is taken in thru the stomach, and that chelation does not get much of the lead out of your system. He says in adults lead in your system is no big deal unless you are exhibiting serious health symptoms. He basically tells the employees what the company wants them to hear, that the lead exposure is no problem and they should trust the company and not worry. He also totally toes the line regarding testing, stating in many different ways that blood testing for lead is the only accurate or meaningful way of finding out if you have elevated lead levels in your body. He is definitely a hired gun out to make money working for big corporations and insurance companies. I have done a… lot of reading on the subject and he is full of it.

If you are being sent to this guy, then the insurance company is trying to get out of paying your workers comp claim. He is the hired hand of the insurance company and is not in any way there to help you.

Dr. Burton is a quack. He asks inappropriate questions that are personal and have nothing to do with the case. He 'claims' to be an expert in whatever the case happens to be at the time with SAIF. His office is creepy, and his equipment is old. I would never recommend him and SAIF should quit using him as he is also tarnishing their reputation. He should retire! Our overall rating...disgusting! He actually called our regular physician who we have gone to for years 'a liar'.

This doctor is one of the poorest excuses of a "professional" I have ever encountered. He is more like a back alley doctor.
