Dr. Brent Forrest joined Mosaic Life Care in 2026. As a practicing surgeon, he takes pride in the comprehensive perioperative care of his patients, a value instilled in him throughout training. During residency and even now while in active clinical practice, he has also continued service as an officer in the Air National Guard. He enjoys general aviation as a hobby and is one of the very few physicians to have flown in a B-2 stealth bomber. Following medical school, he served five years on active duty practicing medicine in aviation units with multiple deployments to Europe and the Pacific. From 2018-2023, he completed general surgery residency at the University of Missouri - Kansas City where he won multiple awards for his clinical care and leadership, as well as produced research presented at state and national conferences.
