Dr. Brent H Goodsell, DO

I was recommended to Dr Goodsell from a friend. He did a thorough job in answering questions and looking for any issues. He listened to my concerns and was attentive to me during the visit.

My wife and I have used Dr. Goodsell for years and like his manner and results.

Awesome doctor. All my family sees him for our skin issues.

Dr. Goodsell prescribed a medication for acne afterI specifically talked to him about something that would remove dark spots. Two Pharmacists told me that the expensive medication was usually prescribed for people with acne and they did not know why he had prescibed it. I do not have acne. THEN-my insurance would not cover the skin tag removal because they considered them cosmetic surgery. Both my husband and I have had skin tags removed before and the insurance covered that procedure. When I called the billing department the person I spoke with would not recode it and sounded rather arrogant when I asked if she could work with the insurance on this claim. I would never recomment Dr. Goodsell.

This doctor is a very nice, well-groomed doctor. He has a very clean, nice office. His staff is average. They don't go out of their way to either be nice or mean. However, he missed a very rare dangerous melanoma which I had. I brought two moles to his attention because they were new and they were located on my toe. He told me they were fine. One of those moles was indeed melanoma. This dermatologist does not map moles if you have them and does not measure or keep track of the sizing. I would not recommend this dermatologist if you are concerned about skin cancers. Hey may be better suited for cosmetic dermatology, but I would avoid him if you are seeing a dermatologist for health reasons. He is a nice doctor.

I've been seeing Dr. Goodsell for 6 years for three different conditions, and from the very first visit I felt like he and his staff knew what they were doing and genuinely cared about me. I've since moved 30 miles away, but I continue to see Dr. Goodsell because I can't find the same professionalism, kindness, and up-to-the-minute medical knowledge anywhere else. I tried a new dermatologist last month who is within walking distance of my house, but today I returned to Dr. Goodsell. He knew about new treatments the other dermatologist didn't mention, his staff made sure I had plenty of time with the doctor and had all my questions answered, he remembered specifics about my treatment even though I hadn't seen him for months, and he was very informative about options that would be safe for me since I'm trying to conceive, whereas the other doctor seemed content to let me try things out and be a guinea pig. He's definitely worth the 30-mile drive!

I visited Dr Goodsell's office for the first time today. Both the doctor himself and the office staff were professional, caring and easy to talk to. Dr Goodsell listened to my concerns and took the time to help my understand what was going on. I will definitely return to this office and will recommend it to others!

Dr. Goodsell had one foot in the door and one foot in the hallway when I was in the room. He didn't even look at my hand, (my complaint). He just assumed he knew what was wrong. What he prescribed me did not help. I went to a different doctor who inspected me throughly and said that what Dr. Goodsell prescribed me actually made it worse. Also, this doctor has never seen what I have and did lots of tests to help me find out what was wrong and did not ASSUME that he knew what it was. I will not go back to Dr. Goodsell.

Dr.goodsell is a great Dr. I have been to him,my husband started going to him. My husband had skin cancer. Several different times removed,from a different dermatologist. When he went to goodsell, one time for the skin cancer on his face and hands. I think so highly of him,my daughter and my little grandson have an appointment to see him.
