After four years of residency training in Greenville, South Carolina, at Greenville Health Systems, Dr. Parnell then completed a three-year fellowship in Urogynecology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Parnell then completed a three-year fellowship in Urogynecology, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then started and grew a Urogynecology division in Augusta, Georgia, at the medical school, Augusta University. As a board-certified Urogynecologist, Dr. Parnell focuses his practice solely on the treatment of pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse, bladder, and bowel incontinence using a wide array of conservative medical and surgical treatments. Dr. Parnell has extensive experience with robotic surgery, sacral neuromodulation, Botox for overactive bladder, and other minimally invasive …techniques.
