Dr. Brent David Pawlson, MD

Dr. Pawlson is one of the best doctors we have ever visited for our children. Kind, yet thorough and understanding and doesn't push unnecessary medicine on them. If I wasn't forced to leave this facility, he would be my doctor indefinitely. Don't hesitate to request him, he is great!

I've never had a doctor that I felt comfortable with and he's the first one. Every time we go, he's always very friendly to me and my daughter. He's very help in answering questions and direct. When I had my 2nd child, I requested for him to be his pediatrician as well. And so far everything is going well and highly recommend him as a pediatrician!

Dr. Pawlson is an asset in our community! He is wonderful with kids as well as the parents. He is informative, thorough, and accurate in his diagnosis of his patients. I read the first review of his on this website, and think that it is inaccurate. Especially since Dr. Pawlson is a pediatrician and not a surgeon! If he referred a patient to a specialist for more information, maybe the other physician should be reviewed negatively. Only reason for giving 3 stars for ease of appointment is because he is so well liked and his appointment get filled up! I will continue to take my kids to him and to Lancaster Pediatrics.

Dr Pawlson has taken excellent care of our daughter - we discovered a problem with her heart after her 9mo appt (vaccine reaction) and Dr Pawlson was the one who saw her the next day after the ER refused to admit there was anything wrong with her; he immediately referred to ped cardiology; fortunately it was a minor issue and resolved on its own. I've called the triage nurse several times to ask questions about both my daughters and 90% of the time it is Dr Pawlson who returns my call, rather than just the nurse.If we have an appt for one child, he is more than happy to answer questions about the other, provided it is nothing major that requires an appt.He is also very understanding and respective of our parenting decisions and the medical decisions we make for our children; not pushy at all like other drs I have met.I highly, highly recommend him!!

If you have a healthy child, he's your guy. Otherwise, RUN. never tested child for family medical history. Caused child to endure multiple tests and surgeries that were not necessary over a three year period. Took her to family doctor who tested family history on first appointment. We had a diagnosis in four days.
