Very happy with Dr. Thurness. He's so helpful and easy to communicate with. His staff is very good too. Everything is explained clearly. Always on schedule too. A+

I have had a few of these shots in my back and the Team did a great job, very little discomfort. Appointment was on time and all staff professional and friendly.

He provided a thorough examination, his communication, was clear and compassionate. He went over my x-rays, MRI and records so he understood what has been done. He explained a plan to hopefully relieve my back pain. His staff was also friendly and efficient in getting information.

Dr.and his nurse Kendra were excellent. He explained what he thought to me in words I could understand. Part of their follow-up has already happened and I hope my next appt comes fast and I think it will. Regards,Rich

This was my first appointment with Dr. Thurness. He did a thorough exam, explained things fully and in a manner I understood. He went over my MRI with me as well. We will begin the steps of pain management. At least now I have some hope! I would definitely recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Thurness, now for a few years and he has helped me out with my lower back pain and other issues. The office and all the staff and him are super to work with very caring group of people. I highly recommend him!

I have seen Dr Thurness for my neck, knee and lower back pain. He has worked through each issue thoroughly and patiently. His nurses and staff have made me laugh and have also been so patient and kind. All questions are answered and well explained. Kylie and Cameron in Mitchell have been excellent!! I will continue with OI for all Orthopedic care. My only complaint, more than once, actually each time I come in, is reception. I’m often ignored, even after Dr. Thurness said Hello from behind the counter to me. She continued talking to him about something random. I simply went and sat down. When it was convenient for her to acknowledge me, she said my name and Dr. I’ve been in there, waiting behind another couple, no reception around…the lady waiting said to me that she didn’t think anyone was around. I told her that is unacceptable for a front desk… the patient agreed, about that time the usual receptionist came out chewing on food, no apologies… I again just sat down. Every… single time I come in for over a year, I see the same behavior from this same receptionist in Mitchell. If she does acknowledge you, there is zero eye contact, no smile… everything I would not want at my business. Her job is the face and first line that patients see at OI…. It’s too bad the doctors, nursing and radiology staff are top notch and we get greeted, actually not greeted by such unhappiness at the front desk!

I like dr Thurness but always seems in a rushed manner for my visits. It makes me uncomfortable.

He was very friendly, answered my questions and good with his recommendations. Willing to spend time with me.
