Dr. Bret Munson Johnson, MD

My regular dermatologist was not available one day when I had suddenly begun to itch more than I could stand, so I got in to see his colleague, Dr. Johnson. He was very knowledgeable and without alarming me, he sent me to have blood drawn for testing. I left afterward on a trip to south FL. When he got the blood test results, he personally called me to say that he was sending the results to my primary care doctor, and that I should call them for followup, because I did not have a dermatology problem, but one with my liver. We discussed the question of whether it would be okay for me to stay with my grandsons for the few more days planned, or better to cut the visit short and get home in case I were to get seriously ill, even though he could not predict whether I would or not. I decided to return home early, got tested for every liver disease known, but had none. However, I did have a chemical imbalance because of a conflict between one or more of the prescriptions I take and a… new supplement I had added. When that was discontinued, I got well again. Now Dr. Johnson did not treat me that time, he did know what needed to do, and did it without making me experience unnecessary panic, and I will gladly see him again if theoffer need arises!
