Dr. Brett Justin Berman, MD

On each of my visits he has spent less than five minutes examining me. He has missed things. I have had to switch to another cardiologist.

I found Dr. Berman to be very professional, yet friendly and eager to get to the bottom of my health issue and help make me feel better. I thought all the staff to be very friendly, and courteous. Not once did I ever feel that Dr. Berman was trying to hustle me out to see the next patient, or did I feel the staff was impatient or condescending at my millions of questions.My issue is with the office in Chula Vista as a whole. Was the follow through. Had an initial visit and carotid ultrasound, followed up by an Echocardiogram. I was told when the echo was scheduled that I would get a Holtermonitor in a week through the mail. When I didn't recieve it after four weeks later, at my next appointment one month after my last appointment. I was told "we always wait until after the Echo's". That's not what I was told two other times. The day of the Echo I asked the receptionist and she said, I will get the Holter monitor after the Echo is reviewed. How long should I wait? No more than 10 days.… Now , another month has gone by. I called and they said they would order it and I should get it in 2-3 days. My issue is If I hadn't called would they have ever ordered it?

Very bad experience. Gives you no more than 5 minutes and no attention. Staff is not helpful at all and very rude.

Poor attitude very abrasive demeanor would not recommend this guy. Not competent sadly

Best Doctor I've ever had. Explains everything so I can understand. Really cares about my progress and recovery.

Dr. Berman has been my doctor for two years. The man should be King.

my daughter had a few questions to ask Dr. Berman about my health situation, sending them to his staff by e-mail several times. His staff was very friendly, but apparently that was only in words not actions. He never wrote back.

A wonderful experience. Extremely professional.Would recommend highly without reservtion
