Be prepared to be misdiagnosed and referred. Just plain incompetent and lazy physician going through the motions

Dr did nothing for me. I knew I had an ear infection coming on. he said just keep taking you're alergy meds. would not give me a basic antibiotic., I lost some hearing in my right ear.

Family Practice Center 100 William Northern Blvd, Tullahoma, TN 37388 The office personnel called me to reschedule an appointment I had with Dr. Ferrell. Two weeks out was the next available slot. I informed the female working there that I would run out of a medication we were evaluating the dosage of prior to that and asked if she would call in a refill to get me through to the appointment. She then informed me that the only thing she would do is to schedule me to see a Nurse Practitioner, I declined, as I pay to see Medical Doctors not glorified bed pan changers and this issue was between the Doctor and myself. I then reiterated the question, the reply I received (without her consulting anyone) was no one will call in. Although I'm slightly impressed that the physicians at this practice have enough faith in their office personnel to make medical decisions for them in their absence, I am however abhorred by the fact they approve the ability of the office personnel to regulate… medications. I would like to believe this has nothing to do with the fact that I caught this office in the act of insurance fraud approximately five months ago and was able to stop it, but one can't help but wonder if this is some form of revenge. I did not report the incident at the time, perhaps I should revisit that decision.

Doctor has his nurse see all his patients and he just goes in long enough to bill them for a visit! Nurse is the most unprofessional person i have ever witnessed in the medical field! Rude! If you upset her she will have you fired. She likes to talk about personal business while in for a visit! I have had several family members tell me she has discussed my family's business to them. Really? Then when you try and complain the doctor doesn't listen. If you want to go to an office where you get treated by the nurse and not the provider..this office is for you! I wouldn't even give a "star" for courteous staff. Better hope you can drop everything and run when the nurse calls..or they fire you instantly. Doesn't matter if you can't stop the medications you are on without tapering. The nurse could care less. Just goes with her awful bedside manner. The doctor gives her free range to do whatever she wants and treat patients however she wants..sad.

I don't know how he made it through med school, internship, and residency. I am an RN and I am saying he does not know what he is doing or he doesn't care.
