Confortable with Gidney, but I've had a hard time getting through to anyone when I have questions. They don't respond to the email from their website and don't return routine calls.

From the beginning, BG was candid, made no promises, told me the chances of successes and the risks, explained the procedure, and recommended I go ahead with the ablation. I did. Not quite a home run. Did the Tikosyn load at cottage. I felt great, but follow up visit showed I need another ablation. So I did that. Keep up the Tikosyn for three months, then stopped--and all is good. All along BG explained why he thought I was a good candidate for this process, and he was right. He was actually more optimistic after the first ablation than I was, and I'm grateful for his encouragement.

Dr. Gidney completed my SVT ablation last week. my recovery has been very easy, he is a fine physician that make you feel that you are the only important person he works on. He is truly a gem in the medical world. Nothing but praise here.

Prior to me first suffering from my SVT, I lived the by the motto of fast living and push it to the limit. When I first experienced SVT, I thought I was gonna die so I was rushed to the local ER to which they chalked up as sever panic attack. All the local drs concluded it to be that as well so I believed it to be that until one day I thought I was gonna pass out and called 911. When the local ambulance showed up they said I had another panic attack. Finally I decided to take my parents advice and go to the Sansum clinic to get further diagnosis. Finally they were able to find what I had and referred me to DR. Brett Gidney. All I can say is he is up to date with modern medicine and the Miracles they can work. It's been 2 months and I haven't had a SVT attack since. I am back to being normal and can thank the wonderful staff of dr Brett Gidney and Sansum clinic. Recommend him to anyone with any type of heart rythym issue.

Just celebrated the three year anniversary of my pulmonary vein ablation and things have been wonderful. Dr. Gidney was exceptional in his knowledge, skill and bedside manner throughout the entire process. I lived with occasional Afib for about 15 years and since the procedure I have been able to live without fear of being caught in the wrong spot at the wrong time with a funny heartbeat. The idea of somebody poking holes in my heart and shooting lazers didn't appeal on any level. I am glad that Dr. Gidney changed my mind and cured my Afib. Thank you Dr. Gidney, you made me better.

I went to Dr. Gidney for my Afib and he was so professional and so well educated on Afib. I was very nervous when I first went to him and he was so comforting and made me feel at ease. His staff was also so helpful and incredibly nice. I booked my ablation and had it done a couple months later. I was so nervous but felt very confident with the choice I had made in my doctor. He not only fixed my afib but he also got my life back! I am forever grateful!

I live in Hawaii and needed a procedure done that I was not confident could be performed well in Hawaii. We have family in Santa Barbara so we made arrangements to be seen by a specialist there. I called Dr. Gidneys office and the entire staff from the start was amazing. The staff was so easy to work with and they were able to get me in for a consultation and work with our schedule since we had to fly from Hawaii for the appointment. I was seen by Dr. Gidney on the Monday after I arrived over the weekend and he was so confident that he could fix my heart. His explanation of the condition and procedure totally put me at ease. He was calm and very straight forward on how my procedure would go and gave me all the risks and complications in a way that made me sure that if something did go wrong I was in the best possible hands for my care and the team that would be with me were the very best. On the day of my procedure (Friday same week), I was nervous( I only have one heart) . The… staff at the hospital when I arrived took excellent care of me. My husband is a doctor and had just flown in the night before surgery and had not meet Dr. Gidney yet. Dr. Gidney took the time to meet with him personally before my procedure. The entire staff in the operating suite were incredible. I felt very safe and calm and knew I was in good. hands. After surgery Dr. Gidney spent lots of time with my family letting them know about me and that my procedure went well. The nursing staff at Cottage Hospital took great care of me for the next few hours and I was able to go home the same day. I felt great the next day. I also felt like the anxiety I had about my condition was gone. Knowing that I was going to be able to resume my very active lifestyle and get my life back with out worrying about when the next episode would be was a huge relief. Disney Marathon here I come. I am so very grateful to Dr. Gidney and his amazing team of professionals. If I had to do it all over again I would in a minute. I waited 10 years to have this procedure out of fear mostly. I am so glad I waited and had the chance to have it performed by Dr. Gidney, the new technology he had available to him was state of the art, his up to date knowledge, forward thinking, bedside manner and most importantly level of expertise in this field were everything I could have asked for. The saying "Thank you from the bottom of my heart" has a whole new meaning for me to today. Thank you from the "top" of my heart Dr. Gidney!

I had a procedure done by Dr. Gidney and his team about 10 days ago in Santa Barbara. Prior to having this done, he made me feel comfortable and knowlegable about what was to happen. His office staff were always helpful. Dr. Gidney made a point of remembering my husband's name. His relaxed manner in the office and at the time of surgery were definitely reassuring. His team reflected that manner and were a "fun" group to ease into the land of "nod". By the way, Dr. Gidney is an expert in his field!

Excellent physician who was the first of several specialists to accurately diagnose and treat my arrhythmia problem. Spends time with you, listens, and answers all questions without being in a rush. His office staff and surgical team are excellent. Very professional and return all calls in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Dr Gidney to anyone experiencing arrhythmia problems.
