Dr. Brett Carlyle Gray, MD

My review keeps getting deleted...imagine that! Horrible experience! Dr. Gray has a terrible bedside manner and an awful demeanor. He was rude, actually mean, not only to me but also to his assistants. I had 2 upper wisdom teeth extracted. My blood pressure was so high before the procedure (almost stroke level) due to pain, infection, and being nervous. He did not care and proceeded with the procedure. I woke up from anesthesia in excruciating pain and begged him to give me additional numbing medication. He screamed at me, “what is the matter with you”, and demanded me to walk to another room so he could numb the area more. I was literally crying because the pain was so intense and I had never been talked/screamed at by a medical professional that I trusted to help me. I asked his assistant, “why is he so mean”? She explained that is his personality. Thankfully, he left the room when my husband finally got to me and realized I was so upset...Dr. Gray should consider that was his lucky… day! The nurse swiftly got me to the car. I seriously considered reporting him. Stay clear of this very unprofessional man! He also cut my lower gum, not sure how that happened.

I have had 4 dental implants done by Dr. Gray. He has always been very professional . His work has always been of the highest guality. Very good oral surgeon.

After consulting with my dentist and an endodontist for an abscessed fractured tooth that could not be saved., my dentist prepped the adjacent teeth for a bridge. My dentist called the oral surgery associates to schedule an appointment With Dr Brett Gray for the tooth extraction. I went to my dentist before my oral surgery appointment to have the 2 temporary crowns removed, then proceeded to the oral surgeon. My appointment was at 1:30pm and I arrived at 1:15pm. The doors were locked; I called their office number and after many rings, someone in Monroe answered to tell me the office was at lunch. By this time there are 4 other patients waiting in the parking lot wondering when the staff was going to show up. Finally, around 1:40 pm a women showed up and opened the door. So then I am told that my appointment was for a consultation. The extraction would have to be sometime after the Christmas/New Years holidays. Oh, and pay us $95.00 for waiting an hour for NOTHING. I walked out. This is… the most unprofessional office I have encountered.

Dr. Gray was seen by my wife and me as patients. We are Very Pleased with him and his staff.

Our daughter needed her four wisdom teeth extracted. We saw Dr. Gray after seeing another surgeon who was very angry and rude. We wouldn't trust her surgery to him. Dr. gray is not overly friendly. My wife went with our daughter for the surgery. I went for the followup. I didn;t know all four teeth had been extracted. My wife wanted me to ask when the other two teeth would be extracted. I asked the doctor. He took it as an affront to his surgery skills. I had no idea that all four teeth had been extracted. Why are oral surgeons so angry?
