Dr. Grizzell performed a Thoracic aortic aneurysm repair, executed Ablation, performed an Aortic valve repair, and installed an Atrial clip to address my health issues. Dr. Grizzell is a highly competent skilled surgeon, who uses the latest technology and processes to perform all of his procedures. Communication from Dr. Grizzell and his team (Sara, Wendy, Dr. Hennecke, etc.) was top-notch during the consultation, PRE-OP, and POST-OP processes. The Wichita Surgical Specialists portal was very intuitive and extremely helpful for tracking appointments, questions, and other communications with the team. I would highly recommend Dr. Grizzell to anyone needing advanced cardiothoracic surgery.

Dr. Grizzell performed a lung lobectomy on me. Since I had some heart issues, Dr. Grizzell had to communicate with my Heart Doctor. Together they coordinated my course of treatment. His expertise was very evident, as he answered all my questions and explained each procedure. His calm, bedside manner set my mind at ease. He is a king and compassionate man who genuinely cares for the well being of his patients. Dr. Grizzell and his staff are the best!

After the diagnosis of a congenital bicuspid aortic valve, Dr. Grizzell performed surgery above and beyond normal procedures. My aortic valve replacement was textbook but he gave me a second chance due to the replacement of unforeseen deteriorated arteries during the procedure. Spare parts in my leg assisted in the completion. I'm lucky to be alive because of Dr. Grizzell! Thank you.

Dr. Grizzle was awesome! He took plenty of time explaining things and answered every question we asked and trust me we had a lot. My husband is doing great and I attribute that to Dr Grizzle’s skill. I would recommend him to anyone!

I had bypass surgery from Dr Grizzell. He and his associates kept me informed throughout my pre and post operative stay. I received excellent care from everyone. The VA Hospital found cancer in the center lobe of my right lung. I was referred to Dr. Grizzell for surgery. At the time only the patient was allowed in the VA due to covid restrictions however Dr. Grizzell took the time to call my wife and explain on the phone what would be happening at the time of the surgery. I reported for surgery and approximately three hours later Dr. Grizzell informed my family that the surgery had gone well and the cancer along with 13 lymph nodes had been removed. Dr. Grizzell used a freezing method to freeze the nerves to control the pain. I can honestly say that I have had very little pain. I have not needed any type of pain meds at all, The lymph nodes were sent to be examined. Thankfully they came back with no cancer present in them. Dr. Grizzell was very personable and was good to explain all the procedures and aftercare. I feel very fortunate to have had Dr. Grizzell for my doctor. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Grizzell.
