Meet Doctor Johnson
Brett L. Johnson is a native Oregonian, having grown up in Roseburg and graduating from Roseburg High in 1983. He attended the University of Oregon where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in General Science in 1988, with a minor in Biochemistry. He went onto attend Oregon Health Sciences University, receiving his D.M.D. in 1992.
Dr. Johnson began his dental career as an associate in a Northeast Portland practice for a year and half before buying his current practice and settling in Oregon City in 1994. He feels so fortunate to be able to practice in such a wonderful community like Oregon City for the past sixteen years.
Brett has been married for twenty-one years to his terrific wife Marijean, whom he met while they were both students at the University of Oregon. Together, they have three kids, all very active in school and sports. In fact, Dr. Johnson has been very active in coaching his kids in youth sports the past seven years in West Linn, the …community in which they reside.
Dr. Johnson has coached his daughter’s AAU/Select basketball team since 2007, and will make the transition to his boys as his daughter goes off to high school. When the family has time off the basketball court, they enjoy spending time in Sunriver.
Dr. Johnson’s hobby outside of dentistry is golf. His favorite courses are Bandon Dunes, Bighorn in Palm Desert and Pebble Beach. After playing for over thirty-eight years, he finally made his first hole in one! Thankfully, his wife and kids enjoy golf too, so the entire family gets out as much as possible.
