Dr. Brett T Laggan, MD

I am so thankful that my dentist sent me to Dr. Laggan. His office staff are very thoughtful and caring. The first time I met Dr. Laggan he put me at ease immediately. The day of my surgery I was very nervous and anxious and the minute I walked into the office they took me to a room and immediately Dr. Laggan came in and started my IV. The whole experience could not have been any better and I had no problem during my recovery. I would highly recommend him.

My ratings would have been nearly all 5 stars had it not been for his assistant, who had the worst people skills I have ever seen in my life. Everyone else in the office was AMAZING but the young, short, filipino girl soured the entire experience, which was pretty traumatic to begin with. I had a major procedure done and there was some nerve damage so I had to go in the office one day in the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life. Several of the staff members were so sweet and supportive but this one girl just stared at me like I was an idiot, never smiled, never said a word actually..and of course she had to be the one assigned to me. I was not myself I was so out of my mind with pain so I normally wouldn't have said anything but I called her out on it and she said in a robot like voice, "I'm sorry" then rubbed my arm also in a strange robotic way that made me cringe away screaming "leave me alone!" This girl needs to find a new profession, one where she doesn't have to work with… people, especially people in pain as I'm sure an oral surgeon has their fair share. She made the most traumatic experience of my life 100 times worse..I would not go there again in fear that she would be there.

Appt was for 11:15. Still waiting by 11:45. No acknowledgement from staff that doctor was running late. When I asked how much longer, they went to check. Staff sat back down and I had to go back to desk to ask status. Said the doctor would be just a few minutes. Had go back a second time and indicated that it was disrespectful of my time to make me wait long over my appt without mention of doctor running late. Staff was rude and robotic in relation to compassion and caring. Laggan was a referral from my dentist. I left without seeing anyone and immediately called my dentist who gave me another referral. There are too many dentists out there and procedures are too expensive to take this type of treatment.
