Dr. Lawton received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with Honors from the University of Kentucky in 2000 and completed his three-year residency in orthodontics at the University of Florida, earning a Master of Science degree for his research comparing traditional orthodontic treatment and Invisalign. He served in several honorary leadership roles including Chief Resident of his department. During his years of specialty training, he received extensive training in adult and pediatric orthodontic treatment, treatment of complex craniofacial anomalies and contemporary orthodontic techniques including advanced training with Invisalign.
Dr. Lawton is Board-eligible for the American Board of Orthodontics. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, …Southern Association of Orthodontists, Florida Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Lawton resides in Orlando with his wife, Laura, and three children, Annabelle, Lilly and Jack. He is thrilled to be back home in central Florida where he enjoys all water sports. Dr. Lawton also enjoys playing guitar and working with computers.
