Dr. Brett Melnikoff is a highly skilled and compassionate board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon, dedicated to providing exceptional heart care at The Chattanooga Heart Institute.Dr. Melnikoff's commitment to medicine began at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree. He refined his surgical expertise through a comprehensive residency in general surgery at the University of Alabama Medical Center, followed by a specialized fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery, also at the University of Alabama Medical Center.As a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a proud member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Dr. Melnikoff remains at the forefront of surgical innovation and best practices, ensuring his patients receive the highest standard of care.Beyond his professional life, Dr. Melnikoff cherishes time with his wife and daughters.
