Dr. Brett Matthew Porter, MD

Dr. Brett Porter specializes in geriatric medicine and internal medicine, focusing on the comprehensive care of older adults and general medical conditions across all age groups. He earned his medical degree from The Robert Larner MD College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and completed his residency training at Loyola University Medical Center. With 14 years of medical experience, Dr. Porter brings extensive knowledge to his practice. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Dr. Porter practices at multiple locations throughout Utah, including Murray and Salt Lake City, with affiliations at Intermountain Medical Center, LDS Hospital, and the Intermountain Senior Clinic. He treats patients experiencing fatigue and manages serious bacterial infections, including MRSA and staph infections. His procedural expertise includes performing blood cultures and conducting septic workups to diagnose and monitor infections, as well as providing newborn care services.
