I specialize in mindfulness training. Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we're doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what's going on around us. I have also been trained in many therapy modalities that may be necessary to achieve maximum benefit: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I am a licensed therapist with a Masters of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. I often treat Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Phobias, Stress, Sleep, Trauma, and Tobacco Use.
