Dr. Brett Lee Sandifer, MD

Brett Sandifer, M.D., FCCP, earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Dr. Sandifer completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Emory University. He received his undergraduate degree in nuclear engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Sandifer was in practice with Georgia Lung Associates. Dr. Sandifer has been practicing medicine for 14 years. He holds board certifications in critical care medicine, pulmonary disease and internal medicine. Dr. Sandifer specializes in pulmonary and critical care. In his spare time, he enjoys distance running and triathlons. Dr. Sandifer welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
