Dr. Brett Ian Shore, MD

Dr. Shore is an incredible surgeon, he did a thorough job with my hip procedure and took a lot of care in the process (before, during, and after-care) I can literally say he’s the best doctor I’ve ever had. He puts a lot into his work and meeting his patients needs, and I would recommend him completely!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Shore. Last summer, I shattered my left wrist, and was in a ton of pain. I could not believe what I saw in the x-ray. There were so many breaks and so much damage that I assumed I would be scarred for life. Dr. Shore got me in for emergency surgery the following day and, as someone who had never had surgery in her life, I would have been quite scared, were it not for his incredibly calm, kind, confident and reassuring demeanor. I was right to feel assured as, fast forward to a few months later, you could barely even detect the tiny incision made for the surgery. Once the cast was removed, I did not even need physical therapy. He virtually reconstructed my wrist, with metal plates and all, and it feels perfectly fine. I often forget it was ever injured. I was quite fortunate to be cared for by Dr. Shore, and have deep appreciation for all he did for me.

Dr Shore is a very competent and friendly doctor. I had ACL reconstruction surgery with him and it could not have gone better. Totally recommend. You are in good hands - just do your rehab and you will be fine!

I would highly recommend Dr. Shore to anyone who needs hip surgery. I believe he is a highly skilled surgeon and I am grateful that he did my surgery especially being a Kaiser member. Dr. Shore fully explains the procedure both before and after surgery so you know what to expect. He is very knowledgeable and has a great bed side manner so you feel confident that all will go well. In my case Dr. Shore had to do a great deal of work to repair my hip labrum and clean out an inflamed bursa. I was pretty bad off. Prior to my surgery I could not walk more than two blocks without doubling over in pain. I did pretty well for my age but I attribute my success to Dr. Shore's surgical skills. It is to early to tell my final outcome but I trust I will be back to normal within the next 6-months. If you are a Kaiser member you should request Dr. Shore.
