Such a horrible experience. I'm firing my referring physician.

Was referred by family Doctors office. Getting a human on the other end of the phone line to make an appointment was only the start. When arrived at the office there was a very cold receptionist at the front desk. Shoved a clip board with papers on it and was told to complete. Dr. Troyer was finally seen for about maybe 5-10 minutes questioning everything that was filled out on the clip board. His actual exam consisted of looking down the throat and placed the stethoscope on the back in a couple of places. He stated he felt a sleep study was needed. two weeks later a call came in from Melissa in his office and stated we have a opening tonight. Unable to make that short notice. Another week or so went by and she left a message stating two different weekends on Friday or Saturday on either weekend with a question of what date and 8p or 9p time. Replied telling her, as soon as possible the 9pm time please. No response back from Toyers office until a few weeks later received… a message of reminder of appoint for tonight. No appointment had been made. responded with need a little more notification to be able arrange the time (people do work and live other than by Dr.s office) Needless to say it has now been months and no response from Troyers office. BUT they did not hesitate to send a bill in the amount of $400. (not covered by insurance) to be paid right away. When his billing office was called about the $ amount billed her response was yes that is what he charges, for fist visit and paperwork. Never did the office inform anyone about the outrageous prices. Will not be going back and have informed Dr.s offices not to refer patients to him.

For the last 6 years I have been a patient of Dr. Troyer. From my experience, he is an excellent doctor and knows his profession thoroughly. I highly recommend him if you are experiencing sleep apnea. He has a very experienced staff and are kind to all who come in for appointments.

Run from this guy. All he wants is your money. He misdiagnosed me. RUN FROM THIS GUY.

I was referred to Dr. Troyer by my family doctor. I took the first sleep test and went in for appointment with Troyer. The receptionist asked for $20 and I said not before I see the doctor. She said in that case you can't see the doctor. I told her to go get the doctor and then she let me in. I cold not beliee the lecture from Dr. Troyer that I had to endure. He endlessly told me how many "dead beats" there are out there who don't pay. Even one told him that he wasn't worth it! I didn't go back. The negative reviews you will read are accurate and much too kind. Dr. Troyer is a disgrace to the medical profession. See him at your own risk!!!

Dr. Troyer knows his field. He has been a pleasure to work with. He is open and honest. Troyer is as good a doc as I have ever dealt with! I highly recommend him.

I really appreciated him, he saved my life by diagnosing and treating my sleep apnea.

worst doctor I've ever been to.

I had a sleep test conducted through Dr Troyer's office several years ago. I never sleep on my back (can't breath that way), and always sleep on my side. Based on feedback from my spouse, the occurence of apnea is far less when I'm sleeping on my side, which is my natural preference. But during the test, his technicians kept rolling me from my side to my back. This gave me a 'severe' rating on my test that I think was artifically inflated. That, combined with the Dr's attitude, left me feeling like I'd been shopping for used cars. If there are other specialists in the area, check them out. Use Troyer as a list result.The clip-on suspenders didn't help his credibility either. Semi-kidding on this point, but really - what decade is this? ;-)

Dr Troyer has done very well diagnosing and treating me and he and his staff have been accommodating to my needs and considerate and professional. I get my equipment through his office. It is very helpful that he has someone in the office available almost all the time for help with equipment. He spent all the time with me I needed and discussed my tests thoroughly. He saved my life.
