Dr. Brett Wolters, MD

My recent visit with Dr. Wolters was at the clinic, Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics. Dr Wolters was friendly, efficient & extremely knowledgeable as well as professional; he listened to my concerns and reviewed the information sent to him from my family doctor; he gave me his opinion of my situation, we discussed what was needed and a plan to handle my needs. We are moving forward with the plan and hopefully everything will be achieved I will be able to go on with my day-to-day activities without the discomfort I’ve been experiencing.

Very callous and non caring. Looked at me like I was lazy because in a wheelchair. Yet the emergency doctor I seen said no weight bearing until I see a Ortho. Couldn't get into him for 8 days. Then was treated badly. I would never recommend him to anyone. And if there is a reoccurance myself and Carlinville hospital along with this doctor will have a talk.

Dr Wolters is a very good dr he jokes with you but he gets serious about what he tells you what’s wrong and explains everything very well, explains in a very good sincere sort of way, I don’t know how to explain it. Dr. Walters to me has the best bedside manner I’ve ever seen he’s serious about what he says and he’s the best dog gun surgeon I have ever had to take care of my arthritis. I highly recommend if you need a good doctor for arthritis or joints, he’s a good doctor. Look him up and go see him. You won’t regret it.

Dr. Wolters replaced both of my knees last year. I could not be more pleased with the care I received from him! He is an excellent surgeon, as well as a kind and caring individual. He always encouraged me to call if I had any concerns or problems. At my final check up appointment, he took time and talked about things to be aware of that could potentially happen in the future. I definitely appreciated that. Thank you for everything, Dr. Wolters!

In and out an a hour. Will definitely be back.

Dr. Wolters was very kind and knowledgeable. Explained things very well, answered questions, and didn’t feel rushed.

I think he knows his business but I felt like I wasn’t completely heard. He based everything on MRI, which didn’t clearly identify the problem. He did give me cortisone shot and follow up appt though. I do trust him but I noticed the time allowed for my appointment on Myhealth was only 10 minutes.

Best patient service and communications from Dr. Wolters and his staff. Very thorough and great bedside manners. Jack received exceptional care during surgery and all follow up appointments. Never had to wait to get an X-ray and never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen by Wolters.

Dr Wolters replaced both my knees. he was a very caring and a nice doc. He's thorough and covered all my fears and questions. My follow ups through the years have always been very pleasant. he also has a pleasant personality with a sense of humor.

Waited an hour and a half in the waiting room to see Dr. Wolters. Rushed through my appointment with none of my questions answered. When I called with questions I was never able to talk to anyone to get them answered and never received call back from the nurse as I was told I would be getting. Finally decided to cancel my surgery and find another Doctor.
