Meet Dr. Adams
Even though Dr. Adams is highly experienced and educated in complex and restorative dentistry, he believes that there is always more to learn in the field of dentistry, and he continuously works towards true mastery in his craft. Simply put, he wants to be the best dentist possible, and that requires not only the application of his talent and capacity for learning, but to actively apply that talent and skill to patients who have their own vision for dental health and appearance. As a practitioner in the field of cosmetic and restorative dentistry, he is not only an expert dentist but an artist as well. The mechanics of cosmetic dentistry, although challenging, also require an artist’s eye when restoring someone’s smile to meet his or her vision of what their smile should look like. Thus, Dr. Adams’ philosophy is centered in the meeting of his vision and the vision of each patient to achieve the best possible dental outcome for that patient, and that’s what sets him …apart from his peers.
Dr. Adams’ journey to reach his vision began with graduation from the University of Pacific in San Francisco.  He has extended his formal education with hundreds of hours of training in TMJ disorders at The Dawson Center for Dental Education in Tampa, Florida and the Pac-Live Institute for Advanced Dental Aesthetics. He also has served as an adjunct professor of dentistry at his alma mater, the University of the Pacific and a clinical mentor at the Kois Center for Advanced Dentistry in Seattle.
Dr. Adams is a an active member with the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, Contra Costa Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. To give back to the community, he is a volunteer dentist at La Clinica de la Raza in Oakland where he provides dental care to the underserved.
Dr. Adams has lived in Northern California for over 20 years. He is happily married with two wonderful kids. He is active in the community and loves coaching both of his kids in sports. In his spare time, he loves to ski and golf.
