Dr. Brian Anderson, MD

I took my mother in law to Dr. Anderson today. I am her caretaker and am the only one with extensive information on her heath. She had signed a form that they provided so that I could speak with the doctor regarding her medical health. My mother in law can answer simple questions about how she is feeling in the moment but has very little memory of any of her ongoing issues. When I tried to explain her history he stuck his hand up at me and said “let her speak I’ll talk to you later”. It was a bit abrupt and rude to say the least... She continued to give him inaccurate information. When I tried to correct it he again put his hand up at me and told me he wasn’t going to listen to me. I was pretty shocked and frustrated by this as every doctor we see is usually so thankful for the information I can provide. It saves them time to have correct information up front but this guy doesn’t get it. Then he said “If your going to sit there with that attitude then we can end this”. I am… disappointed that I didn’t give this guy a piece of my mind. The only attitude in that room was coming from him. I have never been treated so terribly by a doctor in my life. There is no way we are going back to this guy. I declined to do the bloodwork he requested and walked out. If you want to be treated with respect find another doctor.

He doesn’t listen and just gives a cursory exam

If zero stars were an option that’s what I would have rated this doctor. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

Do not recommend - stay far away! My mother has since been admitted to the hospital 3 times. She came into his office extremely sick and he accused her of drinking alcohol and told her to go home. He then prescribed a medication that she later discovered she was allergic to, to then prescribe it to her again. The final straw was he had her do an MRI and read her someone else’s results and told her she had a brain tumor!!! I kid you not!! Stay far away from this doctor.
