Dr. Brian Anthony Arenare, MD

My only issue with this doctor is that I came in complaining of chest pains and shortness of breath and my heart hurting. He told me it was likely just stress, but that I could get a physical and do a 24-hour heart monitor. He didn't tell me to do these things, he simply sugggested it. It took me nearly a year to get back into do my physical. I wasn't that concerned since he told me it was more than likely just stress. Come to find out, I had an abnormal heart test. I really wish he would of "ordered" me to do the heart monitor a year ago, instead of just casually "suggesting" I get one done. If he would have told me I needed to definitely do this, I may not have found a year later the problem. I would have found it much sooner probably. Other than that, he seems like a nice, intelligent person, but to me, he didn't stand firm on what I needed to do. It was just a casual suggestion, but he didn't order any further tests for me. I based my decision to wait on doing other tests by his… mere suggestion, and now I am having to go see heart doctors.
