I can't say enough about Dr. Aros and his staff at Mount Mansfield Orthopedics and Copley Hospital. I had both hips replaced and Dr. Aros and his staff made me feel comfortable and cared about how I wa doing before and after my procedures. I would highly recommend Dr. Aros and Staff to anyone who are planning to have a hip replacement procedure.

The care team at the office and the hospital were great for my hip replacement surgery throughout the entire process. My surgery went amazingly well and the recovery process was way better than expected. They provided me with a program to follow post surgery that included videos and easy to follow physical therapy exercises. I didn’t end up having to go to a Physical Therapist because of the program. My recovery went faster than expected and after 3 months I’m better than I was prior to the surgery and my pain is totally gone. Dr. Aros was also great at explaining the process and setting proper expectations. Clearly my surgery went well, so I am extremely happy with the entire process.

Dr Aros and Copley hospital where the best team ever.. They start treating you pre surgery and don’t stop with their care months after. They check in with me to make sure all is well. I felt like I was his only patient in office and at the hospital. I love my new partial knee. Replacement. I have now had them both done. It improved my quality of life. I can play with my Grandkids without pain!

Excellent care from Dr. Aros and his whole team. A friend came from Minnesota (Mayo Clinic) to help me after surgery and was very impressed with the care at little Copley Hospital. I'm so glad I chose Dr. Aros to do my total hip replacement. 3 months out and I'm back to my full, active life.

Aros is likely the best in this business. He is straightforward and listens to and understands his patients but will not rush to surgery. Once you get to surgery, you are in the best hands. The Mansfield practice is ultr-professional. It's really hard to get that first appointment but once you are one of their patients, you know you are getting the best possible care, from the people at the front desk, through the PAs and up to the doctors. Finally, the outpatient facility at Copley is amazing! I've used that facility for a variety of procedures beyond orthopedic and every experience was excellent. The hip replacement was the most significant procedure I had done there and, again, first rate.

Totally satisfied. Three month after a complete hip replacement by Dr Aros and I am playing tennis with Peter Sampras. Oh, sorry, with my daughter actually. But my hip feels like new. Of course it helps that I am an ideal patient. I don't smoke, I almost don't drink, (well sometimes don't drink), I listen to the doctors, most of the time, and I am young, only 68.

Dr Aros is an extremely talented ortho doctor and surgeon. I have been very satisfied with each of my knee surgeries with him including an ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, quadriceps tendon repair and most recently a partial knee replacement. Dr Aros has built a wonderful practice that is an asset to the Vermont community. His team including PA Alexis are great to work with and care very much about patient outcomes. I am extremely pleased Dr Aros offers partial knee replacement (PKR) as an option for those of us who fit the profile for that surgery. PKR is in my experience a much more sensible approach than removing healthy knee tissue. Post PKR surgery, I followed Dr Aros’s Force app for exercises and did about a month of PT with a physical therapist. As promised in 90 days, I am playing hockey, working out, walking and biking with no more bone on bone pain and swelling that I had been living with prior to surgery. I recommend Dr Aros for any patient with knee issues… you’ll be happy you chose him!
