Dr. Brian Gerard Ashford, MD

My daughter was not a patient of Dr. Ashford’s but he was there when she needed him and he was wonderful. He did an emergency section on her and saved her and her baby.

He was there with me through my whole pregnancy. He cared and listened to any and all questions and concerns. Overall awesome before manor. I would use anyone else. Dr Ashford iis still my dr. 7 years later.

I absolutely LOVE this doctor! I am pregnant at 30 years old and needless to say it hasn't been an easy ride for me. Dr. Ashford has made this process very simple for me and always around when I need to go see him. I can't thank him enough for being AMAZING!!!!

Loved our experience with Dr Ashford. Made our pregnancy and labor and delivery do much smoother. Even came and delivered us late at night when he wasn't on call!

Dr. Ashford was great! At first I was hesitant about seeing a male doctor because I was used to just females. But Dr. Ashford quickly changed my mind. He made me feel so at ease. I had previously been to two other physicians who barely listened and pushed me out the door. He actually listened to me and my concerns and finally gave me the correct diagnosis. A few months ago he did my surgery and he did a great job. He walked me through the entire process and you can barely see my scar. Most recently I brought my daughter in for her first exam. At first she was scared to see a man, but the minute she had a chance to speak with him she felt very comfortable. The exam was gentle and a non-issue. After we walked out the office she told me how much she liked him and that he's the only one she wants to see from now on. MY DAUGHTER AND I GIVE DR. ASHFORD 4 THUMBS UP!!!!

Dr ashford, though very cute, is a terrible doctor. I know my body I know when it's not just something as small as a simple bladder infection or I wouldn't be waiting almost 2 hours in a waiting room to see him, he walked in looked at the urine specimen gave a diagnoses and started to walk out the room. I had to ask this doctor to examine me as uncomfortable as that is. He was not thoghrough in the least bit, poked around gave me the same diagnoses and left. 2 weeks later I was diagnosed with Cystitis Cystica by another great doctor if I would have just accepted dr Ashfords recommendation for one more week I would have been hospitalized. I wouldn't even recommend Dr Ashford to a female dog.

I HAD AN APPT WITH DR ASHFORD FOR 1 PM HE DID NOT SHOW UP UNTIL 3 PM KNOWING I WAS PREGNANT AND STARVING HE WOULD NOT EVEN RETURN THE PAGES FROM HIS NURSES IN THE OTHER ROOM WHO I COULD HEAR TRYING TO CONTACT HIM. HIS OFFICE WALLS ARE SO PAPER THIN THAT IF I COULD HEAR EVERY WORD THE NURSES WERE SAYING I KNOW IF SOMEONE WERE IN THE ROOM NEXT DOOR THEY COULD HEAR EVERYTHING SAID IN MY ROOM WHICH IS CONSIDERED A HUGE HIPPA VIOLATION. FURTHERMORE I WAS SCARED BECAUSE I HAD STARTED BROWN BLEEDING IN MY SECOND MONTH OF PREGNANCY HE WAS NOT PROFESSIONAL CARING COURTEOUS NOR EVEN SEEMING CONCERNED THAT I HAD CONCERNS FOR MYSELF HE SENT ME FOR ROUTINE OB LABS THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE WENT FOR CONSIDERING HIS INITIAL DIAGNOSIS WAS SPONTANEOUS ABORTION...SENT ME FOR AN ULTRASOUND THE NEXT DAY BECAUSE HIS OFFICE DID NOT HAVE A TECH AFTER 2 PM!!! AND REFUSED TO LET ME DO IT AT THE HOSPITAL ALTHOUGH I ASKED. SO THE NEXT DAY I HAD MY ULTRASOUND AND A VISIT WITH HIM SHORTLY AFTER HE READ ME VERBATAM… WHAT THE TECH HAD ALREADY TOLD ME BUT WOULD NOT DISCUSS IN DETAIL ABOUT THE ULTRASOUND AND WHAT IT SHOWED HE WOULD ONLY ANSWER "DEBRIS". AND "IT HAPPENS!" WHAT OBGYN WOULD YOU WANT TELLING YOU, YOUR FRIENDS, YOUR FAMILY "IT HAPPENS" AFTER LOSING A BABY. HE WAS IN RETURN VERY DISRESPECTFUL AS SOON AS HE SAID IT HAPPENS HE GOT UP TO LEAVE THE ROOM I HAD TO STOP HIM BY FOLLOWING HIM TO THE HALLWAY TO GET HIM TO ANSWER ANY MORE QUESTIONS THEN I ONLY GOT YES OR NO ANSWERS AND HAD TO PULL THAT OUT OF HIM, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR GO TO SOMEONE ELSE! YES HE IS A NICE PERSON BUT SUCKS AS A PHYSICIAN. HE HAS NOT YET FOUND HIS BEDSIDE MANNER OR PROFESSIONALISM. HE MAY BE SMART MAY BE GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES BUT UNTIL HE CAN PUT THOSE TOGETHER AND TREAT SOMEONE LIKE A HUMAN BEING INSTEAD OF A BOOK OR COMPUTER THEN I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. IN SAYING THAT MY REGULAR PHYSICIAN THINKS HE MISDIAGNOSED MY MISCARRIAGE AND THAT THE BABY IS STILL THERE BASED ON MORE LABS I HAD RUN...IF YOU CHOOSE HIM BE WARNED AND BE CAREFUL!!!
