I attended The University of Connecticut where I received my Bachelor of Arts and served as President of the Student Union Board of Governors.  I continued my education, attending University Of Illinois where I received a Bachelor of Science and received my Doctor of Dental Surgery.  I continued to be involved in education as a clinical instructor at the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry for a time.
I have stayed at the forefront of dentistry by continuously attending educational programs for more than 30 years. I have brought the best, clinically proven technology into our office to serve our patients.
I sit on the Alumni Board at the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry.  Here I serve as the Alumni Chair of the Mentorship Program between The University and the Chicago Dental Society.  This program fosters relationships between experienced dentists and dental students, a relationship that I feel is very important to …the development of compassionate and ethical dentists. 
My wife Judy and I have been married for over 30 years, and have four sons.  We enjoy spending time with family, traveling, reading and automobiles.  I am very proud to welcome my two sons Brian and Benjamin into my practice as professional peers, and look forward to collaborating with them as we work to serve all of our valued patients.

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Brian Baptist, eldest son of Dr. David Baptist.  I am a graduate of AugustanaCollege in Rock Island, Illinois where I majored in pre-medicine, Fine Arts and Art History.  
My education continued with a Masters degree at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville where I was involved in cell research and taught courses in anatomy.  I completed my formal schooling at University of Illinois College of Dentistry where I received my doctorate and excelled at restorative and pediatric dentistry.   I was honored to serve as the student representative of the Chicago Dental Society in several capacities including academic chapter president.
I was fortunate to have been selected to serve an externship with the Indian Health service, providing health care to the Inupiak people of Alaska.   Besides flying into remote villages with bush pilots, I was able to drive a dog team on a typical sled to the most northern point in North America, Point Barrow, Alaska.
I bring with me a relaxed yet professional demeanor.  I love dentistry and teaching patients how to maintain their oral health.  I am very pleased to be practicing with my father David and my brother Ben.  As part of Baptist Family Dental, I welcome the opportunity to provide dental care for you and your family.
Benjamin A. Baptist, D.D.S. 
I graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale Summa Cum Laude where I studied Biology and Chemistry. I held a two-year research assistantship with the department head of Chemistry and Biochemistry investigating materials to advance chemotherapy and nerve growth/re-attachment.  I continued my education at the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry, graduating in the top of my class. 
At University of Illinois my clinical training integrated all forms of dentistry including pediatrics, advanced restorative procedures and dental implant therapy. I was a teaching assistant for both the Pediatric Dentistry Course and the Implant Dentistry Course.  I continue to be involved with the University of Illinois as a clinical instructor.  
I combined my love of traveling and cultures with expanded clinical experiences.  Selected for an externship with the Indian Health Service, I traveled to the North Slope of Alaska and provided dental care to native Alaskans.  One of the most memorable experiences was becoming a certified member of the Polar Bear Club. 
My wife Diana and I enjoy traveling, dancing, and playing with our two dogs.  My hobbies also include carpentry, photography, and auto mechanics.  W
